Hotshot & Farm Hauling from Peterborough, Ontario

Small outfit, specific trailer, straight answer. That is the pitch behind D.Lynde Transport of Peterborough, Ontario. The business's Facebook page describes it as a small outfit with a 25-foot gooseneck trailer offering hotshot and transport services for equipment, farm goods, freight "and all else." Owner contact: Dakota Lynde.

What a gooseneck hotshot rig is good for

• Equipment: skid steers, tractors and attachments that need to get to a job site quickly
• Farm goods: loads for farms and rural properties around Peterborough County
• Freight: time-sensitive loads that do not need a full-size tractor-trailer
• Odd jobs: the page says "all else," so describe your load and ask

Livestock and agricultural work

The directory profile also lists trucking, livestock, cattle and horse hauling, and farming and agricultural services, and states that the business serves customers across Canada. These come from the owner's submission rather than the Facebook bio, so confirm what applies to your load, including trailer suitability for animals.

Before you book

1. Give the pickup and drop-off locations and the date you need.
2. Share the size and weight of the load.
3. Mention any loading help, ramps or special handling needed.
