Heavy Equipment & Livestock Hauling in Bracebridge, Ontario

L&D Custom Trucking is a trucking company owned by Logan Benson and based on Haven Road in the Bracebridge and Muskoka area of central Ontario. The company specializes in moving the machines and animals that keep rural and construction businesses running: heavy equipment, construction equipment, farm machinery and livestock. Its service is described as local and long distance, and it lists customers all across Canada.

Equipment Hauling

Moving an excavator, loader, skid steer, tractor or baler is not like moving ordinary freight. Heavy equipment needs the right trailer, proper load securement and a driver who understands weight distribution, ramps, height limits and the permit requirements that can apply to wide or heavy loads. L&D Custom Trucking offers heavy equipment hauling, construction equipment hauling, farm machinery transportation and agricultural equipment hauling, which makes it a practical option for contractors, landscapers, farmers and equipment dealers who need machines moved between job sites, farms, yards, auctions and shops.

Livestock & Cattle Hauling

The company also lists livestock and cattle hauling. Livestock transport has its own responsibilities: animals must be loaded calmly, given adequate space and ventilation, and moved with attention to weather and trip length. Producers who need to take animals to market, between farms or to a new pasture can talk with L&D about timing, numbers and destination.

Why Hire a Custom Trucker?

Small and mid-sized carriers can often respond to a call quickly, schedule around your timeline and work directly with you on loading details. For a one-off equipment move, a seasonal livestock haul or a recurring job, a local custom trucker saves you the cost and effort of owning and licensing your own heavy trailer. When requesting a quote, it helps to have the machine's make, model, weight and dimensions, the pickup and delivery addresses and any timing constraints ready.
