Roof Pros PlusRoofing Contractors in Alban, Ontario

Metal Roofing & Flat Roof Specialists Serving Northern Ontario from Alban

"The last roof you will ever need" – and the crew that installs it

That is the tagline Roof Pros Plus puts on its Facebook page, and the company is serious about it. Working from 216 Highway 607 in Alban, Ontario, between Sudbury and Sturgeon Falls, the business specializes in two things: slate-look steel roofing for houses, camps and commercial buildings, and welded membrane flat roofs for buildings that need a low-slope solution. The company says it has more than 25 years in the trade, carries a "Since 1996" badge on its site, and works across Northern Ontario and down into Muskoka, Barrie and beyond.

The metal roof

Roof Pros Plus installs a steel roofing system that looks like slate shingles but behaves like metal: it sheds heavy Northern Ontario snow, resists fire and shrugs off hail. The company states that its panels are designed and manufactured in Ontario and have been put through Underwriters Laboratories testing for wind uplift (UL 1897), fire (UL 790) and impact (UL 2218), including resistance to hail up to two inches. Those are the manufacturer's claims, and homeowners should ask for the documentation when comparing quotes. The roof is available in a range of profiles and colours, from classic grey slate to red and brown tones.

The flat roof

For commercial buildings, garages and additions with little or no slope, the company installs an IB membrane in white, grey or tan. The seams are welded together, and the material is described as energy-efficient and fire-resistant. A 25-year warranty is advertised for this system.

Other exterior work

The directory profile also lists gutter installation, soffit and fascia and new-roof installation among the company's services, which round out a full exterior roofline.
