Drive west from Swift Current on the Trans-Canada and about thirty kilometres later you reach Webb, a village of fewer than a hundred people in the RM of Webb No. 138. A few kilometres south and slightly west of the village sits the Webb Hutterite Colony, operating as Webb Colony Farming Co. Ltd.

The colony

Webb belongs to the Dariusleut branch of the Hutterites. According to the Global Anabaptist Mennonite Encyclopedia Online, it was founded in 1993 as a division from Box Elder Colony near Maple Creek.
